The Equipment

To teach private courses, the Pilates Alésia studio has state-of-the-art professional equipment (Peak Pilates® – Balanced Body), designed for the practice of the method created by Joseph Pilates.

• The Cadillac: it looks like a baldachin bed. You can add numerous elements such as springs, ribbons, trapeze … It can be used in all body positions (lying, sitting, kneeling, standing.)

• The Reformer: It consists of a mobile car between two lanes with different springs to add or subtract resistance to the movement. Like the Cadillac we can use it in different body positions.

• The Wunda: it looks like an inverted armchair, with a mobile pedal in the lower part fixed by springs. It can be used in almost infinite positions.

• The Spine Corrector: device smaller than the previous ones allows to work the mobility of the spine more specifically.
• The High Ladder Barrel: similar to a large barrel, it will allow us, like the previous ones, to work on elasticity, mobility of the spine, the balance and the abdominal girdle.
